Everyone Welcome on the Water: Sailability Open Series 2026

Four venues. Four regattas. One unforgettable summer of inclusive sailing. The Sailability Open Series 2026 is here in Northern Ireland from May to August, with events at Carrickfergus, Lough Erne, and Greencastle, welcoming sailors of all abilities to the water. Whether you've never set foot on a boat or you're a seasoned competitor, there's a place for you this summer.

Wind, Waves and Women on Water: Carrickfergus Sailing Club hosts a day to remember

Around 25 women took to the water at Carrickfergus Sailing Club for the RBCA-sponsored Women on Water Festival, supported by more than 15 volunteers who helped make the day a resounding success.

Pathway Clubs

As part of its drive to increase the number of clubs providing high quality junior and youth race training programmes, the RYANI works in partnership with sailing clubs through the RYA Pathway Club Scheme.

The Women on Water programme aims to provide an activity that will support and grow female participation in boating. It aims to develop character traits, skills and water awareness with ongoing involvement to improve their health and wellbeing.
